Susamskriti is an extravaganza hosted by Kitanna Banavar’s family to showcase and nurture their talent in music, dance, art, drama, literature, and sports. We launched Susamskriti in 2009 to bring together the extended family and share rich cultural experiences than transcend generations and keep us rooted in our heritage. Make no mistake, the focus on the past is to only strengthen and prepare for the future, to create opportunities and face adversity. It is the essence of humankind to think long-term, not in terms of years, but in generations to forge ahead as a collective, where the sum is greater than its parts. Individuals come and go, but wisdom and culture gets passed down through our genes and make us who we are in our DNA.
